Hey, is that John Roderick hugging comedian Eugene Mirman? I think it is. Who went to neat event People Talking and Singing at Town Hall last night - a benefit for 826 Seattle? Was it good?

I went to the benefit last night and it was awesome. I'd never been to town hall before, and it seemed the perfect venue. It was a nice mix of comedy, music and readings. I actually think Amber Delorme, one of the students who goes to 826, was the best performance of the night. A great way to see great performers up close.
Yes it is and yes it was and you're welcome! It wasn't the extravaganza of last year's event of the same title but it was plenty charming. Great readings and performances by Mirman, Roderick, Dave Eggers, Rosie Thomas (who is a silly goose), Geologic and Todd Barry.
