Flickr Photo of the Day

posted by on November 2 at 16:04 PM

Man, this photo, from sharp shooter Slightlynorth is almost magic. Look at those clouds. It makes me think about the fact that we have to set our stupid clocks back an hour this weekend (Sunday the 4th, at 2 am). Get ready for the long dark days of getting to work in the dark, and leaving work in the dark…

It should be titled, "Jesus of the hoodie sweatshirt."

And yeah: going to work in the dark and leaving in the dark? I already do that.

Well, for a while, it will be brighter going to work, but then by December it will be fuck all dark either way.

Hey, that's your yang for the yin of long summer days yo.

Setting your clock back an hour actually mitigates the "getting to work in the dark part"

I was just going to say what #4 already has. Setting your clock back means you'll be in the light at 6 fucking am. And who the hell gets up that early anyway?

Since we set our clocks back an hour at 2 am, doesn't that mean the bars can serve an hour longer? I've always wondered this...

If you follow these simple steps:

Buy a broad spectrum "Daylight" lamp.

Supplement with extra Vitamin D,

oh forget it, I'll just up my daily antidepressant...

Fucking "journalists hours".

I feel like I've already been doing that for the past month.
