Yeah, it's all Baird's fault. House and Senate Republicans bear no responsibility whatsoever, nor do the White House and the Pentagon.

Just remember this; no matter who wins in November 2008, we will be in Iraq for generations. Just to think how your children and your children's children will have the glorious opportunity to spill their blood in Iraq.

Is there no one in Olympia or Vancouver who will stand up and run against Baird?

Protesting military supplies at a port does not do it.

Announcing a challenge to Baird = $300,000 over the internet in about one week.

IF no one runs, they no one cares obviously.

People who promoted the war and carried it out bear no responsibility for the outcome. It is all the fault of those who opposed it from the beginning. People who protest the war are the ones to be villifed. Welcome to the bizzaro world.

the surge IS good in the short term. less people, both murkins & iraqis, are dying in iraq.

that does not excuse the macro crime of the war, or even come close to "victory" or "freedom". it has just dampened teh violence for as long as we can overextend our cannon fodder.

Another reality: If the War in Iraq had been successful; no one would be questioning the morality of the attack by the US. Think about that for awhile. It will make you scared.

There's still plenty of reckoning to be done over this awful, tragic mess. Just wait.

Remember Mitt's dad? A credible candidate running for president, he went to scope out Vietnam, returned and announced he had been "brainwashed" by the generals. That was the end of his political career.

Let's blame the handful of Dems instead of the vast majority of insane war-supporting Republics ...
