Dialing for Obama

posted by on November 1 at 10:02 AM

Someone who thinks the Slog has been too Hillary-centric lately sends this clip from Fox News, which used some sort of “patented” focus group technology to show that angry liberals loved Obama in the last debate.

Fox News sees that it's pointless to push its own candidate preference - so the next best thing is to run down the Democratic front runner. I'm fairly certain the first question asked of the focus group screening test was, "How do you feel about Hillary Clinton?" If the answer was supportive, the potential panelist was sent on his/her way.

I love it! They show 1 comment by Hillary where their "data" showed that their 20-or-so "angry Democrats" didn't like her, 2 comments by Obama where the ADs liked him, 2 comments by ADs supporting Obama, and then state that clearly, CLEARLY Obama won the debate. I mean, c'mon. Those two guys said so!

Puh-leaze.
