A one-way ticket for Dick Cheney?
sounds good to me.
So Packistan is behind the US by three steps. Give them time they will catch up with us.
BTW her book about this is called "Letter to a Young Patriot" (I think) but it is available at your local bookstore. I bought it a few weeks ago and am looking for a job in Canada.
dud, this is some scary shit. Anyone want to take bets on the upcoming elections being "delayed" for "national security"?
Notice how the Guardian changed all the spelling in the piece to the English system. Fascists.
should be: dudE. Not dud. I'm a dud.
You act like arresting all the lawyers is a bad thing...
@1, of course agreed. #10 still worries me, what is Karl Rove off doing? I still wonder that they'd amass all that power in the Presidency and then turn it over to Hilary Clinton. Unfortunately, in this country, "control the media" is hardly a step, and probably should be replaced with "encourage big corporations to break the law and then grant them immunity."
Final word, watching the author of the Blackwater book on Bill Maher Friday, it seems that the CEO is a Christian supremist! The private miltia with a 20,000 man airforce and newly awarded $15b contract to fight the war on drugs is a Christian militia. JFC.
@ Left Coast, there was an article in the NYT or Wash Post that Blackwater is now providing "PRIVATE SPYING SERVICES" you know for companies who need to spy on people.
Let's face it, Blackwater is the modern day version of the Brownshirts in Germany in the early 30's. (Hitler skirted the Treaty of Versille by having a PRIVATE army that Germany was not officially paying for)
But then I said before that the GOP are not clever enough to be the Nazi's. Let's hope I am right about that.
And yeah, Rove is working in the background: He is far from done with the Republican Party. Anyone who thinks he is done is not paying attention.
Enjoy! And God Save the Father...er I mean Homeland!!
Gee, how could they legally be providing private spying services? I have to read that book because I can't understand how Blackwater had the money to build a private army of that size. Is there any possibility that the billion that disappeared from Iraq found it's way to Blackwater's coffers?
Control of/by Blackwater and control of the National Guard? It had never occurred to me that I needed to get my family out the country before the next election, but I honestly think that it might be a good idea. I just wish that the Democrats were doing something, but this is just continuing on their watch.
Left Coast, I just checked it was in the Washingston Post online on Saturday and I think it is either Saturday's or Sunday's issue of the Washington Post.
I would not be surprised if money lost in Iraq was not quietly pocketed by the private armies like Blackwater for use at a later time. Maybe not all of it but some of it. Remember Iraq was PLANNED chaos and in chaos you can hide a great deal.
This is hillarious.
I'm curious why @11 thinks this is hilarious... (and it's just one "l") Saw the Mahr show last night....The Blackwater thing is so fucking scary. Or hilarious in that we're all going to die kind of way.
Folks calm down....And now you understasnd why so many Americans want to keep their guns. Should the Bush regime declare marshall law there will be those that won't like it and will shoot back; for freedom and the constitution. Remember folks, you might have to stand by your values and actually do more than just talk, walk down the street screaming, and then retire to a bar and drink while talking about brave and involved you are. So before you spew your love of "freedom" and other such lofty ideas, prepare yourself to really defend those values, such defense might hurt.
The typical red neck has rifles some pistols and maybe an automatic rifle. Bush Regime has a massively funded private army with tanks and things like that.
Yeah, Our right to bear arms is going to help us HOW?
Ninjas bitches.
Blackwater cut funding for ninja research, so that's what we'll have to use.
It's the only way.
Yes, #13, there are guns everywhere, but those who have most of them are the core 20% people who keep "approving" of the Bush Administration no matter what and who will do what they are told by the Cowboy in Chief. Most leftist or Queers or all the other scapegoats of this administration are hardly well-armed...
