His announcement came after the South Carolina Democratic Executive Council voted last week to keep the host of "The Colbert Report" off the state's primary ballot. The vote was 13-3.... The DNC took away their delegate votes for moving up the primary too early.

Colbert wasn't running to win- he was running to reach out to youth and register new voters as Democrats. South Carolina blew their chance, but Florida is critical for the general election and we need young voters.
