This is an ultimate "God, I love Seattle" event.

Um, Gawd, don't encourage them!

I'm only going if there is a drinking contest a la Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Even more crazy than the Stranger endorsing Godden without even mentioning her support for the tunnel or the streetcar: calling her the "grand dame of the city council" in this week's "blowjob."

Have you guys completely lost your minds???

Damn. I voted just this morning and put my ballot in the mail!

Why oh why didn't you advertise this event sooner?? Typical Seattle...

I voted two weeks ago.

Can I bring my ballot stub?

And I'll drive Venus home, since I voted for her.

was this event going to be mud wrestling and the plan got changed?

try the mud thing next time - this sounds utterly boring

if Venus touches a drop - she goes down 2 more points

get a pic of her and Meinhert tongue sucking to music

tom rasmussen will be the most smug mug in the room

Trevor #5 - you are some kind of one issue freak

CHANT WIFE BEATER SEVERAL TIMES, MAYBE IT WILL SINK IN

in modern terms, called using your mind

Cool. I have so got to show up.

Don't let me drink more than two pints of hard cider, ok?

Venus is going to take the bus there, right? Oh yeah that's right she'll still have a license. I don't understand why they don't hold a drunk driver's _license_ in jail until its owner is proven innocent.

@14: I think it has something to do with "due process". Annoying, huh?

Carlo-- er, Karla-- the issue I care about, I don't know why anymore, is why the Stranger says it is in any way a lefty publication. On the Godden endorsement, they sold themselves out for close to nothing-- nightclub rules, mainly. If you think Joe's DV charge is what drove their endorsement decision of Godden, you clearly didn't read either their primary or general election endorsement issues, or this week's "blowjob" where they actually encourage him to run again in the future.
