Hey y'all notice that a lot more women get busted for embezzling nowadays?
Y'all is crazy.
Yeah, but it's okay, because she's white, and she needed the money for private school for her son. And cabinets for her kitchen.
No jail time necessary. Really. That'd be inconvenient.
Finally! Now can we charge the BAM Board with three counts of idiocy for having a nonprofit of that size without some very basic checks and balances in place that even the smallest 501 c 3 knows about?
BAM hired their CFO for $80,000 w/ a %20 salary increase her 2nd year to $95,000 but couldn't afford to pay for background checks or financial audits. Why doesn't the museum make any of its financial information available to the public?
