I was okay with that. My kids were never funny.

And the guy just stood there and let the deputy shoot at his dog?! Why didn't he take the dog inside?

Exactly how stupid can this deputy possibly be.

I'm no great fan of pit bulls, and wouldn't be all that heartbroken if most of them were put down. But fuck. To shoot the dog with no provocation right in front of the owner and their kid? WTF?!?!? And on top of that, he's such a lousy shot that the dog lives?

I think that deputy needs to be put down.

Um, gee NaFun - when a Deputy Sheriff, you know, one of those guys with the badges, the hat, and the big side-arm, and sporting a rifle to boot - demands to see your dog, the average citizen's first response should be:

1. Tell the gun-totin' lawman to "show me the warrant or buzz the fuck off!"

2. Run as fast as you can into your single-wide trailer and lock the door.

3. Cooperate fully, in hopes that the trigger-happy LEO won't shoot you "by mistake".

Sure the deputy is an idiot!
But the family is illegal! (Bet a hundred bucks.)
And America doesn’t need any more leaf-blowers with their pit-bulls! The “father-in law” had a “nervous breakdown.”

That dog is clearly a Rotweiler or some sort of Rotweiler mix for all of you that commented on Pit Bulls without even bothering to watch the video. I was in no mental state to watch that - this is fucked up.

umm....is there a therapist in the house? there are some serious issues floating around here. i'm rather nervous.

uhm, not sure where to begin being outraged on this one. they tied the dog up to let the deputy shoot him with no warrant or proof and then they didn't even check on the dog for two days? someone tries to shoot my dog, and i'm taking him to the vet immediately and then filing charges against the bastard who shot him. i feel for the poor dog. clearly, these people don't have much common sense, or actually care about him.

The whole thing's rather weird.

Then again, normal crap doesn't usually make the nightly news or get repeated on the innernet tubes.

Here's a question: how exactly would you get a cop arrested? Who'd do it?
