They still like 'em powerless though: A Roman Catholic priest who worked as a chaplain at a women's federal prison pleaded guilty Wednesday to sexual abuse for having sex with two inmates. Vincent Inametti, 48, faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $500,000 fine for two counts of sexual abuse of a ward, U.S. Attorney Richard B. Roper said. I am sick and tired of having the horrors of my abuse reduced by statements like: "At least it was NORMAL sex!" Give me a break, people. Rape is rape and heterosexual rape is no more acceptable or 'good news' as rape of an altar boy. I guess you all figure that "what the hell, women are raped all the time, right? Probably asked for it. Prabably came on to the priest, right?" Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.

The John Jay report statement that 80% of the priest victims were male is simply a fraud which exposes the unreliability of the whole report.

I support the need for justice for these victims and authentic efforts to protect the next generation of our children. Neither of these things is happening under the hierarchy's Charter.

Frances George the cardinal of chicago refuses to remove an identified pedophile priest who then continues his abuse. George is elected president of the bishops club by 85% of his fellows.
What is the message?

I applaud Elizabeth for her courage. She is a beacon for the legions of female clerical abuse survivors. May her legitimate outrage melt the hearts of my fellow catholics
