Woodland Park Skatepark Breaks Ground

posted by on October 4 at 13:34 PM

After a long, obnoxious court battle, the Woodland Park Skatepark has finally broken ground.

Construction of the park may take until spring.

The Woodland Park rabbits are expected to stage a protest later this afternoon.

The rabbits have been 'removed'.
There are no more bunnies.

Only the rats remain.

Woo Hoo!

I'm holding my blue-flame skateboard over my head in celebration!

Yes, Old Timer is right... The bunny rabbits disappeared quietly (or perhaps not, eh Clarice?) in the dark of the night, as Seattle Parks Department PR flaks lay bound and gagged in their beds.

Can you hear them? Can you hear them, Clarice?

Maybe I need to get some bunny ears.

I miss the rabbits.

I was wondering why it looked so different last time I walked thru there.

I wish I'd known about the secret bunny roundup, so I could have gone down there and helped. I hate bunny rabbits in the parks.

I wonder if Kook Lady, whatsername across the street is going to be down there, watching the construction, fuming, threatening to call the city if they so much as drop a grain of sawdust....
