You'd think an event like this would be a showcase of style and good taste. Can someone investigate to see what could have gone wrong?

If I wanted to watch someone play video games, I can do it for free.

Couldn't Paul Allen pay a bunch of Pioneer Street people (or better, buy them outright!) and fill all those sorry chairs in his ego-spooge palace?

C'mon...did you not get any footage of that opening ceremony?!! That seems like the undisputable highlight of the event...even a grainy cellphone video...*ANYTHING!!!* Hell, I guess I'll just have to watch this instead...

I know what was wrong. This guy who wrote this blog wasn't even there at world cyber games. I was actually part of the opening show. A dance team went up at about 6:00, the purpose of the dance show was to bring everyone into the seats so that after the dance performance the Korean Delegate could speak about the event. Those seats filled up in about 10 minutes after that guy was talking. No joke.
