A local Muslim imam from Seattle, writing in the Seattle Times, recently blamed the Holocaust on Christians.

He conveniently forgot that a number of the Muslim nations were aligned with the Nazi's. Did Equal Rights Washington object to that?

What an *interesting* reading of history! Conveniently leaves out the animosity towards British rule in the Middle East and the Balfour Declaration, of course, but who needs historical accuracy with god on your side, right?

Hutch is QUOTED in the Seattle Times. Very last sentence in the story has Hutch quoted:

"We better wake up," he said. "This is a war."

The Stranger doesn't have to be my gospel for that. It came right from the lips of Hutcherson himself, and since he didn't demand any kind of correction by the Times for the quote, I take it as being what he said.

So it's Hutch the declared war, not me, not The Stranger, not the Times or any other media outlet. Hutcherson himself.

Maybe he and his ego do not have the balls to stand beside what he has already said. If so I guess that would make me more of a man than him.

The gist: In anticipation of the October Watchmen on the Walls conference in Lynnwood, the Stranger ordered media cult supplicant the Seattle Times to deliberately misquote Ken Hutcherson. (Maybe he said, "Less is more," not "This is war," but what does it matter to the ruling media cabal?)

9 months later, the Stranger is able to reference this planted quote to prove...that Ken Hutcherson uses war rhetoric. Brilliant!

The Dr.'s right: Unless you hear something directly from Ken Hutcherson's lucious mouth, don't believe he said it. Having never seen Hutcherson with my own eyes (surely that apparance at the Town Hall debate was some liberal-media hologram), I don't believe he actually exists. My theory: The powers that be at the Seattle Times, in concert with KING 5 and the Capitol Hill Times, invented him, so we'd all have something to misquote at some unspecified point in the future.
