I can tell the staff of The Stranger did not publish this, if they did there'd be one more detail - a viaduct being torn down in the background.

this brings a tear to my eye, seattle could have had a gay themed monorail guide if they had fucking built it!! damn damn damn.

ps- maybe if the st2 thing passes we can all re-vote on it 8 times out of spite only to vote no the last time and then not have it built.

the old monorail authority (SMP) did have some second-phase plans which included a purple line from Ballard via Fremont to the U-District.
