Alright, alright--I took out mom's picture. Mom is, however, all over the police report we posted yesterday. So maybe that's why I didn't think it was a step over the line. Sometimes in the rush to post there isn't time to really think shit through... and like that.

The boyfriend, who grew up in Spokane, says Dolly's is terrific, for what it's worth.

My intention when I slapped this up was to show that Castagna wasn't just, as so many commenters are saying, some porn-makin', trick-turnin', skanky Spokane 'ho. He's got a mom, he bakes pies.

I've know lots of sex workers--none extortionists, alleged or otherwise--and there's more to 'em than the way they make a living, and I hate it when folks beat up on sex workers for being sex workers...

This is true Dan. I love how people are so quick to name call for him being a "sex worker". We fail to realize that this is the same mind set that perpetuates the hatred and bigotry against the GLBT "lifestyle". Also, no one seems to realize why people work in the sex industry to begin with. Because closeted, hypocritical people like Curtis will PAY BIG for it. If this were Las Vegas it would be a legal profession anyway.

Um, no. In fact, Clark and Washoe Counties (wherein lie Las Vegas and Reno, respectively) are the only counties in Nevada where prostitution is NOT legal. Widespread, maybe, but not a legal profession. People can and do get sent to jail for it.

I saw this guy's picture in the article about the scandal in the local gay weekly here in my city and thought "hmm... he looks familar". Then I read the article and the part about him being an occasional porn performer and remembered: I'd seen him in a movie called "Damon Blows America 3" from Treasure Island Media. I looked him up at their website to confirm and googled his name to see if anyone else on the net had mentioned that appearance, and this page was one of the first links the search results returned. (Co)incidentally, what he says in that movie has a pertinence to this article. In the porno, before and when he starts getting "serviced" by Damon, he talks about his mother, and how she came out of the closet to him as bisexual, confessing that she and his dad would pick up chicks and have 3-ways. He subsequently started to tell her he was gay, but she interrupted him to let him know she already knew. He also said he'd showed her some of his porn online... Apparently, Dolly's is a family-owned business in more ways than one.

A warning, however: This is not porn I would recommend. I watched it because I was curious about TIM's movies, and now I wish I could un-see some of what I saw.
