Hey, it's not only celebrities and TV shows being affected by these fires. CNN's Glenn Beck tells us that it's people who hate America who are being affected.

Missles will hit the U.S. by 2015? Our window of opportunity to hit Iran and hit them hard is shrinking every year. Bush's inaction says a lot. Why does Bush hate America so much?

It's not surprising that Mr Obama would not take issue with someone who believes homosexuality can be cured. Mr Obama himself has obviously found a cure for blackness.

Although it occured after the posting this morning, there's one other significant news item to note today:

Space Shuttle Discovery, commanded by retired USAF Colonel Pamela Melroy successfully launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida this morning, on its way to a scheduled Thursday docking with the International Space Station, currently under the charge of Expedition 16 commander Peggy Whitson.

This represents the first time in the 47-year history of manned space exploration that two operational space vehicles have been under the command of women astronauts.
