Who won Hump 3? That's the morning news I'm looking for.

I'm not a fan of Poehler, but this was brilliant.

@Clinton vs Dean

You really can't compare them. Clinton is a seasoned pro who is not going to have a public meltdown anytime soon. She's been campaigning for President for about 15 years and is accustomed to the pressure.

I can't imagine what would cause Clinton to give up her lead.

@2
you mean that photo at the bottom of the news, with the arrow in the middle of the frame? yeah, that was done by Jackson Pollack's grandson.

Re: Seahags...Getting shutout doesn't bring shame to your city, losing to the AZ Cardinals at home to go 0-5 brings shame to your city.

Also, the SNL thing was hilarious.

The LAT piece does not assert the Dean 2003 parallel ... and the numbers don't support it either.

Clinton may not be not inevitably inevitable, but she's at least as inevitable as Dean's crash and burn was inevitable.

I know the results of Hump! since I was there on Saturday. But I am not telling~ mwhahahaha!!!!

Also, Dan is just as charming in person as you would expect him to be.

Speaking of hump, it should be noted that the version of A Well-Oiled Machine screened at Hump! 3, was not the version we submitted. Over a minute of the best shots of robot on lady action were removed and otherwise reedited in a poorly thought out manner by staff at The Stranger. The music was misaligned due to the idiotic edit job that we were neither warned was going to happen nor consulted about. Overall, the second half of the night was basically ruined for my fiancée and I as we watched in horror as our child was shown in such a slashed and rehashed manner. You did not see the 8 minute film we submitted.

Wow, that SNL is f-in great. Love me some Seth and Amy.

Interesting how the Howard Dean references are starting to appear in relation to HRC's lead...let's hope we don't have an implosion of the sort that Dean displayed with his wild outburst...

The Seattle Times could stand to be more thorough. Last year, The Stranger reported on an incident concerning one of Carol Clarke's sex offender tenants. One of the most charming parts of The Stranger's article: Carol Clarke blaming the woman who filed a complaint against the tenant.

"Interesting how the Howard Dean references are starting to appear in relation to HRC's lead"

Yes, it is interesting. Almost as if with the previous memes no longer working (Hillary's not leading in Iowa, Hillary's not as exciting as Obama, Hillary's not bringing in as much money as Obama, Hillary's too stiff for television, etc etc etc), her opponents have to try to portray her crushing leads (the result of ruthless organization and planning) as liabilities.

They'd *love* to have her problems. This meme won't work either.

Amy Poehler was the answer to the Broadway Video quiz question a couple days ago. I failed, FAILED to answer it correctly, even though I was given great hints by the guys behind the counter. "Blonde." "She does Weekend Update with Seth." "She DOES WEEKEND UPDATE RIGHT NOW!!!"

Big Sven has an interesting veiwpoint. I remember when the MSM would do anti-Dean vids for CNN and other mainstream "news", pretending no crowds existed at events where lines went around blocks and people had to be turned away.

Being cynical is sometimes a wise choice.

Amy rocks my world.
