Hmmm, does MTV still show music videos? I haven't seen one of those on TV in years.....
MTV died after we all memorized Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
i get the feeling that thats not actually MTV news at all.

You're right, it's their newest reality show where they lock Mayor Nickles up with a bunch of drunken nightclubbers.
Hilarity might ensue... or just sue.
Does Peter Steinbrueck still exist?
Whatever happened to Tabitha Soren? Or, should I say, whose groceries is she bagging?
Not a bad idea, Packratt.
But I'm thinking the show should feature Mayor Nickels and Dave Meinert going into a large, domed cage.
Only one comes out. :)
That looks like a community college video editing final project. It sounds like it, too.
Slick production quality is the only thing MTV does well. No way they produced this piece.
Not only does MTV News still exist, Kurt Loder, who's 62, is still on it. Is MTV really playing to a youth crowd when they have someone who's eligible for Social Security is one of their public faces?

Sounds good, yet it forces me to wonder...
Do we call it "Mad Meinert" or "Nutty Nickels Beyond the Blunderdome?"
I'll leave the question of who will be Aunty Entity for another day.
This is the kid who produced that video. Check out his "Television" influences and that should tell you all you need to know.
Is MTV something like the Reality Show Network? You get cool vids from VH1.
Yeah, don't you miss MTV News? The Week in Rock? Kurt, Serena, John, Chris. Thems were the days.
I miss MTV Sports, too, with Dan Cortese. Liquid TV. And the early attempts to launch Jon Stewart's TV career.
And who thought they'd run an interesting concept like the original Real World into the ground and that it'd still be copied on network TV 16 years later?
