The Twilight Zone movie, particularly the monster on the airplane wing - but really the whole thing. For weeks (months?) afterward, all my brother had to do was sing "doo-de-doo-doo doo-de-doo-doo," and I'd freak the fuck out. Nightmares and everything. My parents probably shouldn't have taken little 7-year-old me to that one.

My stepmom used to drag me and my brothers to a bunch of drive-in B-movie horror flicks in the late '60's, so I got sort of innured to the schlock value from being bored off my seven year-old ass by such "classics" as "The Dunwich Horror" and "Count Yorga, Vampire".

But, yeah the little voodoo doll from "Trilogy of Terror" had the kids in my neighborhood freaked out for weeks! And I will admit to feeling pretty creeped out by the mirror-eyed albino ghouls from "The Omega Man" (both not surprisingly based on stories by one of the Masters of Terror, Richard Matheson).

But, the monsters that still give me shivers are all the disgusting mash-up creatures from John Carpenter's remake of "The Thing". That skittering spider-head thing in particular still sends chills up my spine.

DUDE! YES! All of my biggies were already gotten by others, but, to recap:

1) Large Marge (Sent me screaming from the room at my friend's 6th birthday party)

2) Cyborg lady

3) Airplane Gremlin / No Mouth Girl / Monster Dan Ackroyd from Twilight Zone the movie

And to add a few more:

4) The Banshee from Darby O'Gill And The Little People (which caused me to pee my pants rather than go to the bathroom because I was convinced the Banshee was in the shower)

5) Meg Mucklebones (the green water hag thing) or the dancing black dress dummy from Legend

Nice with the Space Herpe too!! Ice Pirates is among the top 5 truly enjoyable bad movies ever made, like, so enjoyable, it really transcends the entire idea of "so bad it's good" and actaulyl becomes legitimately good.
