A new business is moving in to the old Vogue space between between Purr and Barca on 11th Avenue. Want to guess what kind of establishment this will be? Answer after the jump.

The Crypt Off Broadway, adult pleasure proprietor, opens in its new location on Friday, November 9.

Vogue moved (into CHAC on weekends) and then closed. A dance night called Club V seems to be happening intermittently at CHAC now and appears to be connected to the Vogue crew. RIP First Avenue Vogue.

does the area really need a second crypt? was this a spacing issue where they were running out of room for inventory and sales floor space?

We shall check in on the viability of two crypts in a year.

Well, that's a relief. When I saw those white slatted walls I thought Value Village was opening a second Value Village right across the street.

Huh, those white slatted walls made me think it was going to be a Payless Shoe Store.

I suppose I should be relieved it's not.

Is The Stranger moving? I've noticed a big for-lease sign on your building.

And really, when did enough robots move onto CapHill to justify having their own bar? Why can't they just hang out at the vacuum cleaner repair shop across from the Elysian?

Nice to see that you've rolled out the welcome wagon for the lovely Silver Surfer family.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Mr. and Mrs. Silver Surfer.

It is not a second Crypt. They have a notice on their window that they are moving in November. More condos and development on Broadway!!! YEAH!!!!

@ 4 & 7
Club V is DJ Evan Blackstone who Dj'd the Vogues 80's night. Club V is every Sat. night at CHAC Lower Level - except 4th Saturdays, which are Emerald City Soul Club

So the Crypt is moving into the space? Interesting. So you'll see a lot of the same People In Black on the sidewalk outside that used to go to the club.

I wonder if the landlord is charging the Crypt the same jacked up rent that drove the Vogue out of there (I heard he wanted $7000/month, up from $4000) or if he's lowered his expectations a bit after the place remained vacant for ten months.

Sorry for stirring off the topic, but since Club V was mentioned in the coment section, I figured i would plug the Club. :)
As for Club V, yes DJ Evan Blackstone, Roxy and myself are running a 80's night the first 3 Saturdays of every month. We are located at the CHAC lower level. Same faces and some new ones, but overall the same Vogue vibe. Come by and see us!
