Bush is the best sometimes... We have pictures of our goverment torturing individuals that were plastered throughout every mainstream magazine (time, newsweek, ect) In this country and yet he still issues statements like the one Dan just posted.
Remember in the 90s when our biggest concern was the definition of "sexual relations?" Those were the days.
As the head does, so does the body. With Bush issuing statements like this in support of quasi-legal interogation techniques it's little wonder why police misconduct and jail deaths have been on the rise in the US.
The no-talent chump in question is trying his hand at a bit of theater here.
He knows that most people living in the US would actually consider the interrogation techniques - that are currently being used "legally" - to be torture.
If we're not allowed to see for ourselves what the techniques are, then we are left to take his word for it that they are "legal" and let it go. And so his game is to convince most people that it is all legal, even the shady bits, and even though the only oversight was done by his homeboys and homegirls.
#@$!$! ITMFA
In other news, you might find it interesting that the spellchecker on this computer reports that "homegirls" is misspelled, but "homeboys" is not.
there isn't a problem, "everything's legal don't worry!", and hope to block all inquiries
which it turns out can still get you pretty far...
