Maui fans of Aerosmith are naive and lack foresight. They don't realize that standard concerts are on the way out. Gigging at events like car conventions are the bleak future! In fact, if Seattle knows how to be progressive, every courtroom will be equipped with a house band.
example - "We the jury, find the defendant so an so, guilty." - cue Marley's "Mr. Chatterbox"
Confidential to Slodysko:
Hello from France buddy. See you when I'm back, sans Ethics.
Venus has done herself no favors by pleading not guilty. She should have just sucked it up, plead guilty, and moved on from this. Now, this will be what she has to defend and explain between now and election day. Buh bye, Venus.
Good job, News Intern Slodysko!
You would think that the Bush Administration would have memorized their Machiavelli by now, they of all people should know that mercenaries make poor soldiers
Well said Brad. The condescending arrogance of that woman is amazing.
Interesting re: drinking. Especially in light of yesterday's The Times front page.

Highlights?
"scientists at the Institute for Preventive Medicine in Copenhagen, who studied 13,000 men and women over 12 years, found that drinking more than half a bottle of wine a day – 50 units a week – cut the risk of premature death by half."
And
"a study of 12,000 middle-aged, male doctors ... found that the lowest mortality rates – lower even than teetotallers ... The level of drinking that produced the same risk of death as that faced by a teetotaller was 63 units a week, or roughly a bottle of wine a day."
I'll stick with my beer or two a day, thanks!
I had voted for Velazquez, but this morning marked a big x through the oval next to her name on my absentee ballot. At first I was willing to accept that she made a mistake, but ferchrissake, driving 50 in a 30, getting a DUI, and now making a non-pology right before an election gives me pause. I wrote in Steinbruck to protest.
I wrote in Steinbruck too.
