I tried to get my wife to do them with me last time when we were in Amsterdam. Guess we'll never get the chance now!
my understanding is that freaking out on mushrooms in the van gogh museum is all but a rite of passage now. guess that's gonna change....
Looks like Amsterdam is slowly but surely being left to drunk Brits.
Can't they just enact some sort of stupid tourist law? The waiting period was one idea, why not try something else in that direction? $60 mushroom license anyone?
Nah, @4, then we'll all buy fake IDs for like $40 in Copenhagen.
ONE kid kills themselves & they make it illegal?
what is this, fucking america?
@6:
No, there were several incidents, some of which involved other drugs (alcohol, XTC etc.) besides the mushrooms. The French girl apparently already had attempted suicide before she partook of the mushrooms.
Experts advise against banning mushrooms, but the Christian parties in the coalition government do see an opportunity to try and save our heathen souls.
