seems pretty straight forward to me
Hahaha that is so cute! I love the cat ears.
I am not fluent anymore but the half of it I can understand (reading onscreen and listening) is a saucy pitch for the joys of hot springs (onzen) - they're just like a beauty shop, first you put this body part in, then you put this body part in, then you wind up with a sexy body (sekushee bodeee, listen toward the end). Not sure about all the pon-kyuu, pon-kyuu, Japanese is shot through with onomatopoeics like that. Oh wait, here is something of an explanatory link.
It's about not caring what it's about. Because it's trash.
I may not know Japanese, but I know what I like.
I think they are dressed up like Hello Kitty!
I think it's a tampon ad.
Or maybe an ad for an mutual fund. My Japanese isn't very good.
as the guy above stated, basically the pitch is for women to go to the hot springs (onsen); by doing so, the ad tells us, they can "make a sexy body."
w/r/t to the cat ears, the "catgirl" (usually a very young woman with ears and a tail like a cat) is an erotic archetype comparable in many ways to a playboy bunny.
i also have no idea what "pon-kyu" means, but i can pretty much assure you that it isn't important. as the guy above pointed out, it's one of countless onomatopoeia which exist in the language as an adjective/adverb system used in casual speech. some of them are "cute," and my suspicion is that in this sense it was used as an aural sweetener.
and this should go without saying, but the soft lighting and constant cheesecake indicates that this spot was geared more towards the home-masturbator demographic than the potential-female-customer demographic. why, i couldn't say.
It's specifically aimed at men; the song is telling them that the girls are making their bodies better for them.
Other than that, yeah, well, it's Japan. Red-headed stepchild of feminists everywhere.
Er, my understanding of Japanese comes from anime but I have clearly heard bon-kyu-bon before. It's kinda the Japanese version of va-va-voom. Somewhat of a reference to the hourglass shape.
I speak fluent japanese. It's a joke either from an erotic tv show or video. I can't actually read the text in the top corner because the quality is bad. It's about an erotic onsen (hotspring).
Something about an onsen making you more sexy and "bonkyu". Also, the onsen gives you "exstacy".
Bonkyu means "curvy".
It's pretty self-apparent really.
Nothing lost in translation here.
hhhmhmmm MEOW!
