Mars Hill fits our contemporary urban lifestyle well. Plus, it will only be a short drive from our condo on Capitol Hill to the new campus. Hopefully, there is a Starbucks nearby, because we are usually needing coffee on Sunday Mornings, LOL.

Now, if they can only provide doggy daycare for Bandit, our Dalmation, it would be totally cool.

Perhaps they should look at the church on 8th and Madison. I hear they are closing due to lack of funding and attendance problems. They should be helping their own flock. What gives?

My Girlfriend and I were both raised in "tradtional" religions, but they didn't speak to us like Mars Hill does. Mars Hill is a church for the new Seattlite. It's message is as sharp and concise as the granite on the countertops in our Capitol Hill Condo, as vital as the double lattes we both order from Starbucks every morning, and as fashionable as anything you would find in Nordstrom, which is our favorite store. It's honest and, yes, occassionally gritty.

On another note, I'm still looking for the hip Temple for Sabbat Worship on Capital Hill. Could the Stranger please do a guide to local Jewish religious services? I know many of The Stranger staff are observant Jews, where do you go to Temple?

That being said, if you and your girlfriend are down with a superficial, miscogynist veneer of whitebread christianity served on an LCD platter, more power to ya.

Why the hell is the church called Mars Hil anyway? Do they think Mars is heaven?
