New karaoke, except awesome.

Does it work with alcohol though? I haven't tried yet, and the thing with karaoke that seemed to let it mesh with bars is that the drunker everyone got, the less painful the singing was. But fretwork?

I think it's like playing pool. A couple beers and you're razor sharp. After 5 or 6, forget it.

Also, in addition to Goldies, I heard there's going to be a new Guitar Hero night at The Satellite Lounge in Capitol Hill. Every Thursday at 9 pm. Non-competitive, open to all skill levels

There's also Guitar Hero tourneys on Monday nights at Solo Bar in Lower Queen Anne. It's been going on for several months.

Guitar Hero w/ a few beers is best because you get into the flow and you're on point.

But don't be like my friend. Alcohol CAN make you worse. And it can cost!

You can get Guitar Hero for the Wii.

And soon you can get Okami for it as well.

Then you can be drunk and playing with your Wii.

I'm in Austin for a conference, and there's a gay bar here that has Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution on Mondays and Tuesdays. We need that in Seattle!
