Your vapidity is on display for the world to see, Erica, and it isn't very becoming.

Awwwww, c'mon Erica. You know I love your stuff, but you're letting your cynicism carry you away. I was there also, and I've been to many public forums put on by electeds and public agencies, and I've rarely seen anyone more candid and on-target as the Governor. I'm not talking about the theatrical aspects, I'm talking about the questions she was asked (unscripted, of course, and from random people) and the responses she gave.

We can be sure we will NEVER see such candor and openness from Dino "empty suit" Rossi, whose only speaks to Republican groups in closed session.

All this misplaced hullabaloo about this state tour is funny to behold. I think it is great that an elected official is actually roaming the entire state and engaging with people in public forums. Sure some of it will be scripted but it is far better than mass mailings that push out a message with no chance for questions in return.

I think the focus of the discussion should be about Gregoire's inability to reach out to or connect with Seattle and King County. I'm progressive minded who always votes Democratic on major races (not a fan of Green Party spoilers). It is hard for me to get excited about Gregoire, even when I know she has done some good things. She focuses on her "one Washington" theme and seems to spend more time courting Ellensburg than she does Seattle. One would think that her outreach efforts would target Seattle, but she seems to avoid us like the plague. Is it her? Her staff? Do we actually have the plague?

So, what, she should just listen to paid and unpaid lobbyists in Olympia?

Nope.

Ivan: "Vapid." Wow. What an impressive, non-vapid vocabulary you have.

5:

What inability? She came to Town Hall! How the hell is that avoiding Seattle like the plague?

What are you going to tell us next? Up is down?

No, Erica is going to tell us that Surface Plus Transit is the same thing as RTID plus Sound Transit (grin).

Geregoire MUST do a intensive I-5 campaign, not at all like the luke warm stuff from last time.

Chris, are you here? Skip the walking tour of Prosser or Othello and do THE SAME in ten Seattle neighborhoods.

The polls say it is too close to take the base for granted, again.

Last round hers was the most horrid campaign I have ever seen.

Run by people in LA, dear god.

Lowry won handily with Pierce, Snohomish and King in his bag. What has changed?

Asotin is charming, NO voters.
