City Flexcar Tax Deferred

According to my Flexcar newsletter, the company will put off collecting the rental-car tax that was going to be required by the state Department of Revenue pending a “resolution” with DOR . As I reported earlier this month, state Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles (D-36) has legislation in the works that would exempt Flexcar users from the tax.
Cool, but wondering why I did not get my Flexnotes for this month....hmmmmmm
In more important news, small coffee shops now have to collect tax on food. Starting January - but they can start collecting the tax (groceries exempt) now.
But, hey, that probably impacts about, oh, I don't know, 100 times as many people (if that).
