I thought that read "message mode" for a second and got all excited. Who doesn't need an electric toothbrush that emails and IMs? Great way to get kids to spend more time brushing.

Yes, but does it tell us which teeth whitener to use?

Reminds me of this story from Escape Pod... in which case we should all be very excited about this toothbrush.

I swear, I'll nevr buy one of these but I don't hate the idea. I'd love a computerized toothbrush to tlel me which tooth, how vigorously and for what duration to brush. I'm gettin' up there in year and it doesn't make me feel dumb that I see why this product has value.

Anyway, gotta run. I'm off to buy a money shredder at Sharper Image. Their on sale for $899.

I loved that story. I was also reminded of it by this post.

The Sonicare toothbrushes are worth every penny, I'm afraid (the wireless is a bit much, OK). My gum health and general oral goodness has improved noticeably since I started using one.

Who has dental these days? I need to do preventative care.

Who's "we"? If you don't think it's worth buying, why get all angsty about it?

The world is full of things that aren't worth buying. How about we...I dunno...don't buy them?

I can't afford these fancy things, but it reminds me that whenever my mother happens to make it inside my apartment she constantly harasses me to buy an electric tooth brush.
**Fun Fact**
It actaul is better for your teeth and gums. Regular tooth brushes erode your enamel and your gum line because of the hard, abrassive brushing.

... Just saying.
