A New Anti-Hillary PAC… On the Left

posted by on October 24 at 14:09 PM

Introducing Democratic Courage, via Ben Smith:

A newly formed political action committee is aiming to stop Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary by calling into question her progressive credentials.

“We think there are other Democratic presidential candidates who are both more progressive and have a better chance of beating the Republicans than she does,” said the president of Democratic Courage, Glenn Hurowitz.

He declined to tip his hand on the group’s case against Clinton, but said the PAC plans a paid media campaign in the early primary states to make its position clear.

Well, duh. *yawn* He's just now figured out that Hillary's a centrist candidate?

A purist whiner. I love it. He complains about what he doesn't like (Hillary), but refuses to endorse or suggest an alternative he likes better. Brilliant. Let the circular firing squad begin.

If only they'd learn. Attacks on democrats from the far left always fail, don't they? Sad. Almost as sad as the Sierra Club, actually.

It's going to be such great fun when we find out who's funding Democratic Courage. Soooooooo much fun.

Hmm...so it is stupid to criticize Clinton for being centrist. However, it is okay to withdraw support from Obama when ge reaches out to black church-going folks who like a certain singer people have a problem.

Clinton has stated the troops will be in Iraq till the end of her first term, at least. Most Americans want us out of Iraq now. Let’s see, 1 million dead Iraqis so far, and with 4 more years of the war under Clinton, well expect at least 500,000 more fatalities. You folks go ahead and support her, and vote for her. As for me, I can not stomach it. People used to wonder how the Nazis got away with what they did. You pigs will go down in history for what you are. Ron Paul may be against abortion, but he not for genocide.

Yes, the Nazi analogy is well worn, but I did not say America is like Nazi Germany, or Clinton is like Hitler. What I alluded at is I understand how they got away with Genocide against the Jews better then I did before 9/11. But Genocide against the Iraqis *yawn* who cares. It’s not like they are white/Jews are they. But I kinda see how Clinton might be able to perpetrate the war against Iraq better then Bush. As president she will have the authority to call for a draft, and slap that war tax on us, and I am sure a Dem congress will give her whatever she wants. Oh, and by the way, under the last Clinton presidency, a million Iraqis died from sanctions, with half of them being children. *yawn*
