It's easy to acknowledge showy beauty. It's not so easy -- and far more noble, and worthy of time -- to find the beauty not so obvious. Take another look at Agnieszka Radwanska, the opponent. She was playing Maria fucking #2 Sharapova!! And she OWNED her! Just goes to show that pretty is as pretty does, yo.

Angieska should have been so intimidated by Maria�s beauty that she lost. What is wrong with her anyway???
I mean we all know since they were two women playing a sport they were much more absorbed by what they might look like than actually showing off their skill and talent.

Before I knew she was polish, I would have said Radwanska was much cuter, and that your black skin was giving you a wrongful bias for blondes. I've never had a polish girlfriend, but now I know, I can totally sense the chorus children who cooks only stews and potatoes in this grin.

I'm not sure why Charles is allowed to write such sexist shit every day. If he was writing anti-gay shit every day, he would be kicked off the staff.

Look at Charles' mustache. It is a sorry excuse for a mustache. Who would call this a mustache? Thin, scraggly. Thanks Charles for the youtube clip, eloquent. My respect for the Stranger has inched up slightly. It also may incline me toward a re-reading of Rhythm Science by Dj Spooky, of which you are acknowledged in the last pages (next to another UW man, Shaviro. Where is he lost in the Cultural Theory miasma these days?) The tracks on Rhythm Science's included CD do surface occasionally on my itunes shuffle and they are amusing, and in IMO, much more listenable than any of his other stuff. Lastly, your mention of Foucault. I am only familiar with 'Discipline & Punish,' a virtual bible during my junior undergrad year half a quarter century ago. Have you read it? I'd be happy to figure out a way to translate via web my slide/audio/story presentation of it from a talk I did in 2002 for my fellow biotech-ies. The Panopticon continues to devour a large majority of minds.
