As an agnotsic coming from a family of fundementalist Christians I agree with Dan. They choose what to be "outraged" by, most of which is fabricated for them. Most fundies are "fundementally" good people, they are just misguided and are being manipulated by the powers that be. Because they are basically told never to question the word of God, they never question authority of any kind. They are also rewarded for depriving themselves of pleasure and happiness.They truly believe they are under attack. It is sad really.
They need to be educated and reminded of their "savior's" last commandment to "love one another." Somehow that whole concept has been forgotten. I've read the Bible and went to a private fundamentalist Christian school and I can say that no where does it say in the Bible to hate everyone that doesn't agree with you and boycott, intimidate, and legislate to force them to fit with your world view. Sad really.

Boomer @16's got the crucial point here. What these parodies show is that the Last Supper thing has been done and done and done, it's a mild shock tactic and not a very inventive one at that. The outraged Christians are just looking for something to prove that the world has gone to hell so that they can rush in with Jesus as a quick fix.
