It says the police apprehended a suspect in the mugging.

And almost all bank robbers are taken in to custody -- but rarely at the scene and not necessarily on their first heist.

But yeah ... where are the police? What did Jane Hague say, they should be out catching rapists or something?

Actually, with the exception of a couple of babies reportedly present, and maybe the odd friend-of-a-member somehow talked into tagging along, this probably wasn't a Baptism at all. The majority of those people were likely already church members, already bearing names. This was a bunch of people from Mars Hill church taking part in a their Church's event.

Yeah, crime on Cap Hill is getting out of control. That is why I moved off the Hill. I refuse to pay the rent they charge for a neighborhood that is going to hell. And the Mayor is doing nothing about it; except build pricy condos.

Since these crimes happened after the nightclub busts, and in the middle of the day in two cases, SPD must have been otherwise occupied. The only solution is a police state, supported by vigilantes.
