See "unscientific" does not mean the margin of error is really large. If that's all it meant, then yes, they kind of could provide a sense of where things stand.

But that's not the problem with self-selected polls, or lie detectors. The problem with them is that they are total bullshit. They don't even have a margin of error. They are worse than total ignorance.

Anyway, at least it's happening to a guy that deserves it. Well, I heard he deserves it, and probably what I heard is true, right?
