A supermodel who's spoiled, narcissistic, and just plain nuts. So what else is new?

i would go. watch. now. Dan, but after 8 hours helping an ungrateful Aspergers meagalomanic move his crap to new digs, i saw your headline could only piece together Vida Blue, baseball player turned I believe to indie band. youch, time to go to Mercury and bliss out.

What kind of show let a person talk for only 5 minutes when the person is told to be the reason for it?

This ended up being way less interesting than I was hoping it to be.

I love Violet Blue. It is truly a shame that her voice is not taken more seriously. Ugh. I hope she comes to Hump again this year. Dan, have you thought about having her more involved? I would love to hear her speak or have a chance to meet her.

I think the O article got 6000% more circulation than the one appearance on Tyra that everyone would forget anyway, so if I were her, I wouldn't feel too bad about this. She doesn't sound too broken up about it either. Just another crazy WTF experience with TV as usual.

Tyra is useful for the whole culture on animated gifs featuring her, but that's about it.

Who the fuck is Tyra Banks, a swimsuit model or something?

Thanks for the introduction to Violet Blue. Always refreshing to hear from a rad female kindred spirit.

#7: Have you been hiding under a rock? I assume that's a joke.

Yes, Tyra Banks was a swimsuit model. In fact, she was the first black woman to appear on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue back in 1997. That's right: 1997. Just ten freakin' years ago they didn't allow a black woman on the cover of a sports magazine.

She was also a runway model, a Victoria's Secre catalog model, had several cosmetic contracts, and now is a producer with a hugely popular TV show that's in it's seventh season. And she hosts a talk show.

She does okay.
