I believe the Scramjet has existed as prototypes / test bed engines since the late Sixties or something, so I put forth that it wasn't truly invented in this century. Sure, a working, flying model was finally created but I don't think that counts as inventing it. We're down to one useful invention for this century.

Unless you want to count that remote-control clicker-thingy that shuts off the TV set in the bar, that thing rules.

JewTube is pretty funny. I hope youtube backs down. I like http://www.jfun.net "Where Jewish people find fun online…"

I really appreciate all the online communities for Jews today. The Stranger is right up there with the best of them. Mazel Tov!

Well, it probably IS a colloquialism. But it's also defined.

JewTube is a great place to find Jewish humor and news. I really hope YouTube buys a clue and stops oppressing JewTube.

Maybe The Stranger could start some kind of JewTube news to go along with their other video news. I know lots of people in the Seattle community who'd love to see more local Jewish news and humor video available.

I'm not sure that someone who doesn't know "Doctor Who" is back is *qualified* to give the Week in Geek.

PS Vote Saxon.

Wasn't there a case a few weeks ago where prince was suing some sweet housewife over a video of her baby dancing to one of his songs?

@9 - Probably true. Secret is, I don't really know anything at all.

Me either. Although it's not much of a secret over here.

@10:

Actually, that was the RIAA that was suing over a song played in the background of a video.

They're not really happy unless they can make someone's life miserable.

I keep trying to figure out the connection between John Davidson, Cathy Lee Crosby, and Fran Tarkenton and the contents of this post.

PS by the way, Cathy Lee Crosby as Wonder Woman ROCKED! I've had a fascination with multi-colored foam ever since.

I like the idea of bandwidth as currency. With the unlimited high-speed internet, it would be nice making money selling the gigabytes to the needing. Especially if you have a T1 line or something.

Completed in 2810 moves, 2 hours and 9 minutes, with 112 failed attempts.

Anthony Hecht just made my enemies list for wasting 2 hours of my life.
