What kills me is that people have to live in such conditions while our Mayor decides not to build nearly enough affordable housing. Coupled with the fact many of these tenants who live in those places are single males and pretty much go to the bottom of the list of any housing projects.

Want to blame someone for the fires? Yeah, the slum-lord is part of it but so is the City of Seattle and a lack of leadership on the part of the Mayor.
