The DVD

posted by on September 21 at 9:08 AM

Also out this week is the DVD of Zoo, a movie that is set in this beautiful part of the world:

One unimpressed critic has this to say:

It’s an extremely creepy film that shows a deranged, dark underbelly of society. Although the participants in these acts will beg to differ, I found the whole thing quite nutty.

I find that reviewer quite nutty.

Was the reviewer expecting a light-hearted romp for the whole family?

Is that picture old? Or has Enumclaw actually not changed since 1999 when I left Puyallup?

Christ, I hate that part of WA.

@2:

Of course he was! The title is "Zoo," after all, and who doesn't like zoos?

I saw this movie at Sundance this year and really liked it, but I was a bit troubled that it seemed to romanticize beastiality. I was fortunate enough to run into Charles at an event a few weeks back and I asked him if he would feel guilty if he found out that Zoo actually contributed to a rise in horse sex. While I can't remember his exact reply, I do remember thinking it was very funny. Something along the lines of, "No. If somebody decides to have sex with a horse, they have already made that decision on their own."

Cool, which dvd rental places will it be available?

Charles, there will be a lecture on horses, their anatomy (mainly skeletal) and art related stuff, in November. Look for it. Excellent speakers here in town. I'll be there with the posse.

Anyway, I've updated my blogosphere. Got to get out and do the Asperger's shuffle. Please, if anybody wants to lend a hand, interview, whatever, we're a crazy bunck of folk who talk music, movies (how-to), and diseases all day. Cup of Joe is on me.

I quit after the first sentence:

"The tale of a man who took his love for animals a bit too far and paid the ultimate price for it and this film explore his death and desires."

...Oh right, this is the internet; you don't need to be able to construct a coherent sentence to trash someone else's work and mock an entire group of people.

The goyium have disgusting desires that percolate up from their dark souls. Charles illuminated an area of darkness so we may learn and expand human history.

Until the goyium accept and deal with there darkness and submit to the truth of keter and ONE, we'll have the spectacle of horse sex. Judaism dealt with these issues a thousand years ago and no Jew would ever commit beastiality. Bondage sado masochism is the only sex allowed in the Torah.
