Eli, with all respect, the only reason people are voting is within the context of the ENTIRE race.

People may not care because, to quote Republican Newt Gingrich, the Democrats have an 80% chance of winning the 2008 election.

Once the Republicans have a coherent candidate that's getting press, then perhaps the poll would be slightly relevant.

I think democrats have a false sense of security - that the election is already 'in the bag' and so whoever we put up has already won. There are alot of folks (conservative & not) who still hold ... let's call them "biases". Why not put in some old rich white man just to be somewhat safe?
