I seen it. I gouged my eyes and ears out. I walked out before intermission. AVIOD at ALL COSTS!!!
ummmmm, yeah....the enormous star power of Randy Quaid was going to fill theatres all across the land...
or was it, enormous COD PIECE?
The last sentence does make me feel a bit sad: The Red Clay Ramblers are a great group, and although they've twice before trod "the Great White Way" (the original incarnation of the band backed up Shepard's "A Lie Of The Mind" in 1985, and later they played in Bill Irwin's "Fool Moon" in 1993), it would have been great to see them back there again.
I love it when things fail. I just laugh and laugh all day long. Failure is FUNNY!!!
Isn't the abbreviation for "Monsieur" just "M."?
i thought it was good, mostly mindless silly fun. apparently i'm alone on that count. that said, quaid and the band were the best part of the show.
Broadway just ain't worth it these days, mainly because of high ticket prices and diva shit like this from stars.
I thought it was good too, I had a ton of fun watching it.
