I caught hell for Slogging about a few computer monitors left in the traffic circle at 14th & Howell a year or so ago. A few additional monitors appeared at the intersection after I wrote about it, and I soon stood accused of leading an assault on the pristine natural wilderness that had been the traffic circle at the intersection of 14th & Howell.
But I can’t be blamed for this…
Someone has scattered clothes—mostly panties—all over this long-suffering intersection.
I was drunk.
Ugh! I live on 14th & Howell. I just ran outside to check and make sure they weren't mine. Sometimes you never know.
I used to live on that corner. That island has always looked like shit so the make-shift art installations like the painted tires and the computer monitors were actually kind of interesting.
Isn't it possible that someone just lost their load on the way to the laundromat? I've lost many a coffee cup to that scenario...
@3. The best thing that has ever happened to the cirle was the monitors. Last night when I drove past there I thought it was a bunch of dead kitties. I was releaved to see that it was just undies.
WHERE is KOMO 4 News to cover this as "Breaking News"!!???

i saw a bunch of guys hanging out there yesterday when i rode by. they looked at me suspiciously.
Those are just left over underpants from that sex party on 12th Avenue East last month that got busted by the cops.
