Soo depressing, both of these ads.

And Fred Thompson reminds me of a Managalore out of the Bruce Willis movie The Fifth Element.

I remember The Fifth Element as the Milla Jovovovovovich movie.

I have to say, broadly speaking I'd rather have a candidate who has to be talked into running than a candidate who's willing to sell his or her soul to Wal*Mart to get into the oval office.

Wow. Fred Thompson maybe should have run 10 or 15 years ago. Now he looks like a very very old bobble head (bob your head a few more times, Fred). And that is the most lackluster campaign ad ever.

Sadly, Hillary's ad isn't a whole lot more inspired.

I though Hills focusing on ending the war and universal health coverage was awesome. But we all see what we want to see.

Freddy does look like a mangalore. A bored, smarmy mangalore.

I actually like the Clinton spot, even if it's a pretty standard ad, and even though she's my third choice at best. I'm beginning to think that I'm just blind to whatever it is about her personality that irks other people. To me, her downside isn't personal, it's her policies and her campaign team.

Fred Thompson is already doomed by his choice of campaign typeface. Too wimpy. Did he learn nothing from Kerry/Edwards?

Hillary gets a pass because she's a woman, but men need a font that says "I'm gonna kick your ass!" Look at Bush/Cheney -- Helvetica Extra Black. That's a two-term font.

You know who's got a great typeface? John Edwards. Bold, yet stylish. He's a lock!
