I was in Iowa for Edwards in 2004 as Dean imploded and created a vacuum. If he had kicked in some of his money to counter Kerry's $6 million dump of cash, he could have been the nominee. It was also a factor that in NH, I have heard that the Edwards organization was pretty weak. The momentum out of Iowa Kerry gained was never really stopped.
