Jesus & Hitler

posted by on September 25 at 15:09 PM

Surely this is more offensive than this year’s poster for the Folsom Street Fair.

I think Jesus Christ and Hitler had a lot in common, and that was they could both look you in the eye and say, “I’ve got an answer for you, follow me.”

So says CNN’s conservative talk-show host, Glenn Beck. Then Beck added…

One was evil; one was good. But they both could look you in the eye and have an answer for you. There are very few politicians right now that can look you in the eye and you believe it.

But which one was evil, Glenn, and which one was good?

And is that really the trouble with today’s politicians? They’re neither Christlike nor Hitlerlike enough?

Can you give us a link to the poster for this year's Folsom Street Fair?

"But which one was evil, Glenn, and which one was good?"

Last I checked, there was only evil Glenn. Oh, wait...already forgot the lessons of Punctuation Day. Nevermind...

Beck spent an entire week on his radio show hyping up some horseshit fearmongering threat two weeks ago that was supposedly codenamed "Perfect Day" -- warning everyone that schoolkids in the heartland were going to be targeted by gunmen and that the FBI didn't want a panic on their hands, so he was the only source of reliable info to save your kids. If I could have reached through the radio and strangled the life out of that sack of filth, I would have.

Scroll down, it's there...

Though I completely understand not being able to continue past the anorexia pic.

Christ was Hitler, this is the truth of Toxic Christianity, and Hitler is Allah. These belief systems have caused more harm to our world than anything else.

Only Judaism is free from inconsistencies, Torah, the first five books of the Christian Bible were revealed to the Jews by God. In fact the Jewish people existed at the time of the revelation of Torah.

All right, this I find offensive. Comparing Hitler to Jesus, or Jesus to Hitler, is not only asinine, it's also completely retarded.

Thanks #5.

I was mesmerized by the cute kitten. Found it difficult to scroll down any further.

As for the poster...is it supposed to be provocative? If so, I don't think it's achieved it's goal.

That also quite an idealized look at the actual people that go to the event. From the pictures I've seen and the eyewitness accounts, it's mostly a bunch of heavy-to-obese, middle-aged-to-aged naked gay men, and some fat women in bondage.

Everybody jumps all over Charles for posts like this but when Dan posts inane, idiotic stuff nobody says anything.
Well, forget about turning the other cheek.... If I had the chance I would boil you alive Dan... I wouldn't eat you because you would be to bitter.
Today Dan is an IDIOT!
Other days I rather enjoy your sense of humor but today you really pissed me off.

Dan speaks the truth about evil, toxic Christianity and Mazel Tov! to Dan for having the courage to speak out against Christianity, the religion followed by idiots.

Judaism is the world's only true religion and the Jewish people are sparks of divine light created with the universe was formed. As Jews we offer our intellect and creativity to the dark souls of the goyim. What they do with our gift is their problem.

@Issur, you are an idiot for being a jew who believes in god. Sorry, your religion is just as fake as all the others. And BTW, make your god smite me. I DARE HIM TO!!! Come on BITCH STRIKE ME DEAD!!!

Oh yeah, god does not exist so he cann't......

I happen to be atheist/agnostic so don't say I believe in God. I do believe that God gave Israel to the Jewish people. In Judaism you can be atheist and still believe that God gave Israel to the Jewish people. A real religion allows for intellectual dissonace.

The Jewish people are not 'fake' because Judaism is a true religion. Only Christians and Muslims are 'fake' because their religions are idiotic cults. Israel and The Jewish people are righteous and rooted in the truth of Torah.

Glenn Beck is such a tool. He's got a history of spouting bs like this that's longer than I am tall.

No, I'm not a dwarf.

Glenn Beck's got a point in the fact that they both had guru- or dictator-like styles.
What they did with it, is another matter, but I do see similarity in their styles.

Here in Cleveland, we love basketball superstar LaBron James. But I've waited in bemused vain for the fundies to have a fit at Nike's ad campaign which is plastered bigger than a football field near our basketball arena that shows LaBron in a Christ-like pose with the phrase, "We are all witnesses." (Just google images under that phrase.) Further, his nickname is "King James" and we credit him with being Cleveland's Saviour. I guess it's only offensive if we're in last place, which is what we're kinda used to.

Holy fuck. That's the funniest statement EVER! I'm calling all of my friend/portabello mushrooms on my squirrel/phone to tell them of your surrealistic comedy stylings. they will eat their faces with joy at how sad they are that they're eating icecream! Paralax!

Beck is such a quintessential conservative! He just wants to follow someone without question or thought, be it Christ or Hitler, or both (I bet Issur could pull that contradiction off, too).
