Edwards Coming to Seattle

posted by on September 10 at 12:10 PM

Jenny Durkan, the Washington State Chair for the John Edwards Campaign, tells me that Edwards will be in Seattle on Sept. 19 for a fundraiser at the Westin.

Also coming through town in the near future: Ron Paul (Sept. 14) and Bill Clinton (November).

I thought Ron Paul said he was retiring?

And if Hillary can't be bothered, why should we bother? Guess that leaves Gore and Obama ... with Edwards ... as choices ...

I didn't realize Bill was running again.

Will in Seattle, Gore has not decided to run.

Anyway, I wish Edwards were making a speech someplace like town hall where the supporters without the deep pockets for $100 reception tickets can go.

Doesn't surprise me that Bill is going rather than Hillary: She may be smart, but unlike her husband, very uninspiring on the stump.

Hillary will be here in October.

I'm there. While he's not perfect, Edwards makes way more sense than the other options.
