This Saturday, Revenant Magazine will be holding its very first zombie film festival at the Museum of History and Industry in Montlake.

Revenant will be screening 3 zombie feature films (To Kako, Redemption of the Undead and Zombie Farm) and one locally produced short (Snow Day, Bloody Snow Day).

Before the festival, super-dedicated zombie fans can meet at the rock climbing wall near Husky Stadium at 3:30 to take part in a zombie walk. Geoff Bough, of Revenant Magazine says he’s allowing a half-hour for the short walk. “Iím a big fan of the lurching shambler [zombie],” he says. “Itíll be a slow walk.”

The zombie meet-up will take place after what’s likely to be a devastating Husky loss to Ohio State, so if you attend, you’ll be taking your zombie life into your own hands.

The festival starts at 5 and goes till midnight.

I had to look up the word "revenant" to make sure it was real. Spell-check be damned! It IS a real word. Dictionary.com says it means "one who returns after death (as a ghost) or after a long absence."

Clearly I don't read enough zombie lit.

Who gives a good goddam about 24th Ave E or Lake Washington Blvd or MOHAI when referring to zombies?

No, you have to go to Monroeville Mall to reminisce on-location about Romero's Dawn of the Dead.

I don't see any Filipino convicts doing Thriller in this picture, and thusly I am terribly disappointed.

Wow, elitist zombie fans? who would have thought? Should we all fly to Italy for a screening of Fulci's Zombi? Perhaps a late night glass of red with Rupert Everett and a screening of Dellamorte Dellamore in the Coloseum?

idiot.

I was reading where it said zombie fans can meet at the rock climibing wall, and I thought it said "the cock climbing wall." Wouldn't a cock climbing wall be GREAT?!
