Well put, Mr. Schmader. In the words of M. Marceau himself:

"Non."

Sorry, not very apropos, but that's the only word I've ever heard him say.

Comment by Gurldoggie

Weirdly, the guy was incredibly loquacious in interviews. I heard a very funny and surprising interview with him on WFMU a few years back where he just blabbed non-stop about the state of modern performance, American cinema, history of mime, world politics, Palestine, blah blah blah blah. He spoke English charmingly, and hardly let the interviewer get a word in. It was striking how much a guy known for his silence could gab.

Gee, thanks.

I don't know, I guess maybe IIIIII would think someone who spends the bulk of their day refraining from speaking would actually like to speak. A lot. When they can.

Call me stupid, I know. Crazy notion.
