$9.11 for Giuliani

posted by on September 25 at 10:29 AM

The Giuliani campaign is now distancing itself from this fundraiser, which you would have expected to be a joke circulated by a rival campaign as a way of stoking the perception that Giuliani is always trying to cash in on 9/11.

Amazingly, it wasn’t a joke, but a gift from an “old friend.”

This is more tacky than him getting a staged phone call from his wife while talking to the NRA to make him seem all human-like or something, which he's done once before during a speech.

This is a sorta fantastic idea. Maybe I'll do some Republican "campaigning" next fall--either $9.11 campaigning for the main Republican candidate, or serious campaigning for his Nader-vote-thief counterpart.

Unlike Rudy, I have relatives who worked in the towers, who thankfully weren't in their offices, and another one who works in the Pentagon but was in another part of the building then.

He is so toast.
