For the life of me, I've never understood why these things are considered bad, or why this country's liberals can't throw these definitions back in the conservatives' cats'-ass faces.

Oh, they change up the names and places a bit, but every day it's the same thing (car bombings, assassinations, dead civilians, dead soldiers, etc).

if there is anything bad going on in the world right now, we can all rest assured knowing that liberals are responsible for it, and conservatives are hard at work turning a profit by making sure we're fully aware of this.

Maybe we can make the press corps more like local news with nice stories about rainbows and kittens or "fun" hight speed car chases through the streets of Baghdad.
