Call me stupid, but when you grow as a city isn't building things like sidewalks something the city should just do automatically?
Glad Mayor Fatso wants to do it but it sounds like he is trying to get brownie points for something THAT SHOULD ALREADY BE AUTOMATIC!!!!
And another case of massive identity theft. I am not surprised in the least. Did you cover the one that Cetergy lost a few thousand customer checking account numbers a few weeks ago? (I got a notice from my bank and had to close and reopen my checking account). So you need good credit to have a job, have a place to live etc. BUT in the process corporate America is out losing out identities allowing all sorts of fucked up shit to happen to our lives!

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the homeowner responsible for the upkeep of sidewalks adjoining her property? E.g., is liable if a pedestrian suffers and injury due to an ill-kept sidewalk?
